Staying virtually social this lockdown
So at the time of writing, the world is currently in a lock-down due to the global Coronavirus pandemic. Venues, bars, clubs and restaurants are closed, making it very difficult for anyone to celebrate together. But not to worry – thanks to technology, it is now easier than ever to digitally celebrate birthdays and to come together with friends and family.

People have taken up the business conferencing software to now come together and remain social. You can choose from a range of backgrounds, so you can be on the beach or at a tourist attraction all from your living room. Zoom is free to use with some restrictions, but for business use there are other flexible pay monthly packages you can take up.

So “Houseparty is a face to face social network” – and a brilliant one might we add. Essentially, eight users at a time can join a video chat within the rooms. You also have the option to play games including Houseparty Heads Up!, Trivia, Quick Draw, and Chips and Guac.
If you would like some help running a virtual party, let us know. Whilst remaining socially distant, we can help out with the technical set-up and all the props you’ll need for the perfect virtual social party.
